Born in Nagoya, he began playing the violin at the age of four and received early lessons from Rainer Honeck, concertmaster of the Vienna Philharmonic. His other teachers include Toyoko Mizutani, Yoshiko Hattori, Kiyoshi Okayama, Katsuya Matsubara, Paul Roczek, Wolfgang David, and Gernot Winischhofer. In the field of chamber music, he studied under Nasaï Tamai, Takako Yamazaki, Susumu Aoyagi, Siegfried Führlinger, and Johannes Meissl. He won the 1st prize in the elementary school category of the 56th All Japan Student Music Competition in 2003, as well as in the middle school category of the 58th competition in 2005. In 2008, he won both the 1st prize and the audience prize at the International Vienna Dichler Competition. In 2012, he received the 1st prize in the chamber music category of the 6th Yokohama International Music Competition. In 2013, he was selected as a fellow of the Yamaha Music Support Program, and in 2022, he was supported by the Yamada Music Foundation.After graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts (Geidai), where he regularly performed in concerts during his studies, he also devoted himself to music education, cultural management, instrument research, and social projects. Following his studies, he continued his education at the University of Mozarteum Salzburg, specializing in the interpretation and performance style of the Viennese Classical period. He performed in Vienna, Linz, and Salzburg, receiving great acclaim from the audience. At the same time, he was involved in the La Folle Journée au Japon and the Tokyo Spring Music Festival.In 2023, he released his debut album “Hommage an Brahms.”He is currently active as a versatile musician, performing violin recitals and piano trio concerts in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Vienna. Additionally, he serves as a juror for national and regional violin competitions, including the Japan Classical Music Competition. He is the president of the music agency “Eisvogel” and the director of the music school “Shiraki Salon Academy.”
